seatpost for trek 4300

im looking into buying a new seatpost and saddle for my trek 4300 but i just noticed taht seatposts come in different diameters. go figure. i was looking at getting thesette apx carbon for50 bux on pricepoint but its only availible in 26.8 and 27.2. what diameter do i need for my trek 4300? and no i do not have a ruler to measure my existing seatpost. any product suggestions also?

thanks,

Some times you can see the old numbers on the old seat post. Take a look. You could also take it to the shop and ask them if you can not find the info. on-line.
