erectus bike???

just saw this over on the straight chain blog...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCb5M...ectusbike.com/

definitly an odd concept IMO, it seems like putting all of the riders weight in the center of the rear wheel will cause some problems (ie falling over backwards) if you arent used to the bike. i suppose its kinda cool how compact it is. opinions? comments? just thought that i would share

If you accidentally sat down...you'd have to re-name it the anti-erectusbike. You'd leave a skid mark on both sides of yo shorts!

So is that little bar at the top made specifically to impale your genitals if you accidentally sit on the wheel?

i think its supposed to keep your genitals from getting sucked into between the frame and wheel...but your guess is as good as mine

So what is the purpose or intended use of this bike? Not something one could use on a trail. Make sure your health insurance premium is paid before riding... Erectus company..kill that song on the video..reminds of an Asian karaoke bar I was in eons ago.

Beginning to dislike the idea as well. I forgot about my eyeballs shaking around in my head yesterday.

I wonder if I could get them to send me one to test and publicly review...I'd have to put my 2.7" Nevegal on it

They usually do the destructive testing in an earlier prototyping phase.

Interesting concept, tho i get tired just watching it.

A novelty, kinda like a swingbike.
