I hope the reign X looses its funky downtube as well (preferrably with something put there to replace it of course).

Not sure about all these flowy bikes though. I can't belive how much some companys worry about looks. I suppose they're run by the kind of people who line up the logos on their tyres with the valve (if anyone here does that, then I truely feel for you).

There's actually a purpose for that, since it can help you match up the hole in the tube with something that might be stuck in your tire.

I was reading about that new bike. The DW-link guy is claiming that Giant ripped off his link and that the new Glory is basically a ripped off Sunday. Not to sure one way or the other but can't deny it's a good looking bike.

Truth is Giant can't do a suspension design that is unique to them anymore, the last one was the DH Team. For the NRS and AC line all they did was rip off/copy specialized's horst link and they got in trouble for it. So I wouldn't make DW sound like the bad guy since Giant does have a history of using suspension designs without permission. Anyone remember the great failure that was the VT series?

^^ BUT . . . there were a lot of two-short-link designs long before Weagle came out with the DW link (remember the KHS Dominatrax?). His patent is so specific about axle path and instant center that there can be a lot of other linkage designs floating about (no pun intended) that would not infringe on the DW Link.

Well I've never heard that one before. People have always just said it from a looks point of view. Anyways, can't you just look at it in comparison to the valve.

I think it is a shame when companys have to start stealing ideas, I hadn't realized giant has already done this once.
