My bike getting thrown half a block. The car didn't hit my car at all, it just dead on hit my bike from the side. It ripped the straps off my car. Best thing? Guy didn't stop and I couldn't get a license plate number. Sweet.

Maybe you should stop at the stop sign next time Does your insurance cover you? I've been rearended and even though bike was fine (benefit of hitch racks), rack was toast and covered...and by my insurance since the guy who hit me had false insurance ID...
