Entry/Intermediate level MTB
Hello,
I'm looking to purchase a good entry/intermediate level mountain bike. I have a budget of about $800 - $900. Definitely want it to be a hard tail, also good for single track, and mildly rocky terrain. I'm not planning on racing or anything, just good long weekend mountain biking. Here are the bikes I have been looking at so far:
Scott Aspect 20
Giant rainier
Kona Hoss
Specialized Rockhopper comp disc
Orbea Tenere
Orbea Sherpa disc
Trek 6000
Anyone had any experience with these, or reccomend one over the other? I'm 5'7 and about 145 pounds (if that makes any difference). Thanks in advance for all your help and advice!

I have GF Wahoo disc which is a lesser bike than any of the bikes you listed and I have been riding single track with it for 2 years and have not had any problems. Pick the bike that fits and feels the best and get out and ride. My has had 2 rockhoppers and both where great bikes (he out grow both of them)
