Does anyone..
.. use Maxima chain wax on their chain?
|
Personally, no. I've been using citrus chainbrite and prolink chainlube with great results.
You can find like two reviews on it here: http://www.mtbr.com/cat/accessories/...53_131crx.aspx |
We use t9 boesheild at the shop.
Penetrates the metal, knocks the crud off and lubricates. |

Leave the wax to road bikes.

i like the t9 stuff for the mtb.. works great ... i use something called white lightning clean ride on my road bike as it was on clearance. it works ok I guess.. still black gunk coming of the chain, and I don't see that changing... I use simple green and a finish line machine to clean the chain, but still greasy.

I was wondering about it. A friend of mine uses it thinned out with mineral spirits, applies it to the chain with a dropper bottle. He swears by it.
Myself, I use a mineral spirit motor oil concoction for road and Prolink for off road. |
