Best non-carbon flat bar
What aluminium bar do you recommend?
Something light in weight. |
I like the ritchey handlebars.

Easton Monkey Lite.
|
Isn't the monkey lite a CF bar?
|
The best aluminum bar is made from titanium :)

Something light in weight. If it's because you're a Clydesdale relax, you don't have to worry about Maxm bars They have an interior Aramid (read Kevlar) structural reinforcement grid. I come in at 6'4" 250 and my MX-5 that I run on my trailbike and the MX-6 (both are risers) that I have on my commuter have been trouble-free. I used to think I'd snap any CF bar out there but with these I don't worry about it of course having a lifetime warranty takes a lot of worry out of the equation as well. |
Flat bars? Hmmmm, don't really have a preference. I've always like Easton products I've got a set of carbon AND a set of their aluminum ones. Both are top quality.

I got a cheap and lite store-brand alum bar from Performance. I've had some knarly wrecks, and it hasn't bent yet:
