Merging A Carrera Subway 2 With A Specialized P3, Help And Tips

I currently have a Carrera Subway 2, however I recently purchased a Specialized P3 Dirt Jump . As the P3 is a much smaller bike in comparison, I know rides would not be as comfortable, so instead of selling on the P3, my friend suggested I swap out the Subway 2 headset and forks for the Marzocci Bomber forks on the P3, and switch the disc brakes (slightly bent rotors) for the caliper brakes from the P3, exchanging the wheels along with this. Is this wise? Or would I be better off leaving them both stock/customizing the P3 with Carrera parts instead of the vice versa, any advice on achieving the best combination of parts welcomed, thank you!
