20mm too long.

70mm was too long on the Komodo. I took it back out today with the 50mm Transition Temple Lite, and it was pure heaven:thumb: So BigRed is back in bidnizz.

In the same spirit...I took the 90mm Easton off the Crapper and moved over the 70mm Thomson from the Komodo and it feels much better.

What can I say? I like a more upright "tech" position.

komodos a slackish frame anyway right? prolly handles nicer with the short stem eh

I have a 40mm stem on my XC bike and it feels great.

I run a 50mm but waiting for a "talas" type stem to come out. I really miss a longer stem for climbing...

Yeah...it actually OEM'd with a 70mm on the size Lg. back when they sold the bike. I think the 50mm is worlds better though.
