Just sayin'.
Yes, they are all used.

Hello forum, looks like my fork choices are limited by the cantilever brakes. I had hoped to use these brakes with a Rock Shox SID, but doesn't look like that's going to happen. I've got to get a fork that will work with Canti's, and has the cable stop.
All comments and help is appreciated.

Get a set of V-brakes for the front and an adaptor to use with your center pull compatable levers.

Like this: https://www.jensonusa.com/store/produ...vel+Agent.aspx

Halfway decent suspension forks with center pull canti housing stops disappeared off the market nearly fifteen years ago.

Going back to the sid comment. I actually just picked up a 2001 Sid XC for $45. It's pretty good I gotta say. For just riding around. I paired it with Avid SLs and it's awesome.

Thanks, what do you think about a custom front fork. Judy lower's with the cable hangar and SID upper and internals?

A EBay seller, who builds retro forks told me, he could build a shock with a Judy lower and SID upper. I don't think this is possible since I don't think the Judy lowers will fit the SID lowers.
After posing this question to the EBay Seller, I have not heard from him again. He has a U.S EBay account, but A U.K email account, and charges $200.00 in a "BUY IT NOW" auction.

I'm thinking that I will switch to a front V brake, and use a newer front fork, if I can find a front V brake lever that has a 3 speed integral shifter. Does Shimano make these?
Thanks in advance for your help.

It's possible to do with certain model years, but you'll have to decide if you can deal with a frankenfork and the maintenance issues that may come with it.

Thanks, I've almost given up on the cantilever brakes. I'm thinking that I will switch to a front V brake, and use a newer front fork, if I can find a front V brake lever that has a 3 speed integral shifter for the FD. Does Shimano make these?
Thanks again,
Uni
