What is this Specialized Hard Rock worth?
Hi,
I was looking to get into riding again and wanted a reasonable entry level MB. I came across this one (2003 specialized hard rock comp. all alum frame finger shift front sus lights comp saddle bags) locally and wanted to know what it was worth and what upgrades whould you make if you were to buy it?
Thx

Well since you can go buy a brand new hardrock for around $350 I wouldn't pay more than $75 for the 03 model.

My brother just bought a 2009 Hardrock and it was about $480+tax here in NE Tennessee. And that was after talking the LBS down some. They said they don't have the margins on the cheaper bikes like they do the higher end stuff. But if it was in really good shape, then I would agree with MyStolenBikes and say $75-$100 bucks tops.

I have an 03 hardrock. I'd feel like I was ripping someone off if I asked 75 for it....of course, it's lived a hard life.

Thanks all, this guy was asking $150 for it. This is why I logged onto this forum! I'll leave it to you pros for good advice. I think I'll keep looking for a good entry ride. Any suggestions on what a good entry bike to look for for $300-$400. I might stay away from someone elses problems!
Thanks again
Thanks again
