Question on older model trek mountain bikes

I have a question on the 2005 trek 3700, it does not come in WSD, but it does come in mens and womens fit, what are the differences? The shape of the frame looks the same to me, diamond shape, how can I distinguish between the two? Will there be any writing or logo on the frame which says women's fit or sth like that. Since I want to make sure I do not get the women's version, that can be pretty embarassing

If the women's one fits, ride it. If you can't tell, I doubt anyone on the trail is going to notice, much less care enough to stop and make fun of you.

It will probably say on it though. Also the TT will be shorter, I imagine.

I actually saw the post on craigslist, and seller is a lady
There are some pictures, can you guys help me to take a look
https://jacksonville.craigslist.org/bik/1222727569.html
According to her, the size is 40.5cm, which a regular 16inch should say 41cm on the sticker??
The reason I still want to get this old model is because I really like the metallic green color LOL
Thanks a lot

I agree the bike can be found in alot of places for 300 new. Even more so that they are now brining out the 2010 models stores want to clear out the 2009's. I just got one for my son and paid 306 bucks with tax.

Yea, I kinda agree that too, you guys have any idea where can I get one other than from craigslist. I have called some bike shops and they all said it's impossible to get a new one now

Now, that's silly. If the bike fits, ride it.

This place by me always has good deals on treks. Im gonna guess its a bit far from you . Just shop around or try to talk the craigs list person down to 200 bucks.

Craigslist prices are often extremely "optimistic". I've had good luck going to take a look at bikes and then offering cash on the spot at what I thought was a fair price for the bike. If you come armed with info on what similar *new* bikes are selling for, it can help.
