Loving this bike. After being a roadie for the past 5 years I'm having fun in the woods again!

Soma - also awesome, but not as pure. Felt - Very nice! I actually built that Soma almost entirely from spare parts off the Bianchi...haha.. Just had to buy the frame and fork...had everything else laying around cluttering up my bike room... Not too shabby for a spare parts bike if you ask me. It's tons of fun. I use it to work on my riding skills... I practice stuff on it, so I don't break the Bianchi doing something stupid.. lol... |
funky looking top tube on that felt... cool though.. how does it ride?

Now for my rides: At least the two I have pictures of right now. Old 1994 YETI built Schwinn women's NORBA race frame and a 2002 Schwinn Mesa Full suspension. I recently acquired a 2001 Specialized HT Hardrock Comp A1 FS that I don't have a picture of yet.
Oh yeah-that's my son on his 1996 Homegrown Factory USA I recently built up for him. He's actually happier about it than he lets on in the picture. :) |
got a brilliant sunday team, used to bmx quite a lot now moved to mtb's i'm loving this bike

jdlmodelt, is that a soft drink in your bottle cage? I give you points for that.
|
LOL! I was trying to be green, Haha. I put water in it. It's even a green colored bottle to boot! That's funny, thanks for noticing. I'll take those points.

I hope you didn't change anything on my account. I'm just some jerk on the internet. If you're happy with it, that's what counts.

Replaced the duct tape holding the moco knob in place with some swank masking tape. Fork feels so much livelier and more flickable and crap. IMHO more closely matches the characteristics of the naux-bar linkage. I'm going to take it on my favorite trail to starbucks and get it dialed.
