Bite Me Bike Mag!!!!!!

I walk into the LBS and see a couple of issues of Bike on the counter. I page through one and I see a big article on Brevard NC and all the great riding in the area and how Black Mtn trail is a must. Most of the tourist ride in Bent Creek in the Asheville area and thats the way it should be. I see a few folks at the trailheads but once you get out you really don't see anyone.........'till now. Screw you Bike Mag,stay outta my back yard!!

I do most of my riding in Bent Creek...but that's mainly cause it's the closest one for me to try and catch a bit of daylight after work and partly cause I'm still a noob.

Outside magazine has done the same thing to me over the years by publicising some of my favorite undiscovered outdoor spots.

I have been tempted many a time to chastise the bike pubs for overlooking Eastern Washington / North Idaho as riding destinations and then come to my senses. What am I thinking?

Nothing worth riding around here . . . keep driving . . . or stop short at Oregon.
