What front derailleur?
 

Well now...if you were gonna get a new front derailleur (because they are the PIMP'ness)...what would ya get? I can get an SLX for ~ $40'ish...XT for barely more...and NOS 2008 XTR for prob. $40-$45.

I really, really wanted to get the new FD-m782 Shadow, but Shimano isn't licensing them to Honda anymore. Besides...a low profile front derailleur is just asking to get broken...they're weaker, right?

This needs to be uber strong and uber light b/c it's for an All Mountain bike. All Mountain riding is the wave of the future. I have an All Mountain rigid singlespeed too.


So...criteria:
1.Light
2.Strong
3.Cheap
















I'm actually considering going back to a granny on the Komodo...just for kicks. I dunno why. I've got the singlespeed to RAWK the Gnar-vomit, so I may as well have something a little more differenter...morer different...mo-bettah.

My shop said they have some NOS XTR's that they'd let go for around $40-$45 if they have the right clamp diam.
They'd sell me an SLX for about the same price.

XTR or SLX? I really don't care b/c it's just a freakin' FD...and I noticed zero diff between my LX and XT. My XT is a bottom swing...I need top.

Don't you have a knack for breaking things? Probably stay away from XTR especially if you're going to riding the gnar-vomit.
