Trip to Killington
This weekend I will be off to Killington for some riding. This will be my first time there. I suspect most of the riding will be down hill, and taking the gondola back to the top. What should I expect? are there any items that are a must to bring other then the basics?

First aide kit, including Tylenol, Advil, Ibuprofin or Whiskey, your choice of pain killer.
An extra set of brake pads. A full face helmet. A camera. A smile. Oh wait, you'll get one there! L8R |
Coming up to Killington form NJ, cool. Do you know how much it costs (if anything) to ride the gondola for a full day? Because i'm looking around trying to find some good mountains to go to later in the summer.

I biked the single track at Mt Snow two years ago. Pretty decent. I would imagine the Killington trails, both single track as well as lift serviced/on the mountain will be good as well. Check the Killington site. They had trail maps for biking a year ago.We ride the forest trails and fire roads near my house in Pittsfield(10 miles n of K-Town) and there is gnarly single track with lung busting climbs, if you dig?! Give you directions if you want. Myself, if I were you I would stay close to the mountain so you can do the Caseys Caboose happy hour with the free wings, which are world class IMO. Wash em down with a Long Trail. Have a great time and keep the rubber side down.

I went up to mt snow two weekends ago and am going up in 2 more weeks. all i brought was my helmet, bike, hydrapak, and shinguards and i was fine. a first aid kit would be good too, i needed mine since i cut my finger open trying to close my knife on my multitool.

Dang I've really got to go to bed. I thought for a second that this was a "Trip to Kilingon"

The web site is a good place to get info. I am going with my brother who has been there before (skiing) so he is pretty familar to the trails. If we have time we might make the trip to Mt Snow to mix it up a little. I will make Caseys Caboose a definite stop. Thanks for all the info guys, it's much appreciated.
