New 2 mountain biking
 

Hi, i am 14 and i am new 2 mountain biking and i am getting my first mountain bike tomorrow. I am thinking of getting a Trek 4300 hardtrail and i was wondering if it would be a good bike to begin with. I plan to ride some trails and ride it to school and stuff.

Thats a good trail bike and it would also be good for riding to school. If you ride the roads to school. But its a great bike. :)

Yeah, it's good bike, but you'll need some upgrades if you are going to get into anything serious. Just get it and upgrade as you need it.

How about just spelling properly to begin with and not acting like the typical 14 year old.

try searching the forums for that question. You should find many threads about a beginnner's tool kit.

i went trail riding today and i loved it. it was really muddy and slipperly which made it more fun and i think the bike went pretty good.
