30 days to Riding in the himalayas.
say if that's what i have, 30 days, before i start riding in to the indian himalayas. Also assume that i haven't done any excercise in the last one year. what would you suggest i do ... (not doing the trip not an option).
what should be the work-out/fitness routine ?
what should i eat ?
should i take suppliments ? is so which and how ?
i've posted my query in trainng & nutrition also,
but it's relevant here too...eh ?

Without knowing any more about you, it's difficult to assess your situation. There are a lot of variables involved. The best thing to do is just to ride everyday. A great plan to use is the 7 weeks to the Perfect Ride by Chris Carmichael and Lance Armstrong. Obviously 7 weeks is more than 30 days, but the routine is decent regardless.
It's a heart rate monitor type training technique. Initially the riding is easy and slowly progresses. The most difficult thing is to devote 6 days a week to riding.
Good Luck.

Hmmm.... train your legs cus I can foresee that you will do more walking than riding... just kidding. 30 days is pretty hard, unless you train for the terrain everyday from now, and build up your stamina quickly.
