Hey, we're mountain bikers - - active people - - action heroes. There is no place for the worst of passive-voice phrases here.
"Steed"
"Stable"
. . . and other equine references. We got onto two wheels to move beyond depending on those ornery, smelly, *****-dribbling hay-burners.
"Whip"
Refer: http://www.site.hbcutthecoursein1990.com/Contact.html
That's all for now. Have at it.
Well fall is almost here I suppose I should get the steed out of the stable more often, seeing as how it is my favorite whip and all. nomatter how far I ride it seems I cant remove myself from the smell of burning hay though....curious.

I'm proof that you don't need a 'flickable' bike to do mid-air course changes - - often with frightening results . Just ask never.

^^ That's a good idea, Ed.
I can agree to that, Ed.
So, Ed, should this go into effect right away?
Everybody, Ed has requested that you seek his permission to use his name.
Ed, was that satisfactory?

Hey, you were doing a backflip tailwhip so I was damned impressed even though you didn't land it perfectly.

It's a fake.

Time to update the list:

Crew - - as in "Me an' my crew rode . . ."

This should only be used if you happen to be on a collegiate rowing team . . . or if you are a bona fide rock star and other people set up your lights and sound.
Or if you actually have to pay others to ride with you and maybe portage your bike at river crossings. Then I suppose that would make them your crew.

Doug, is "riding buddies" acceptable? "Crew" reminds me of an unpleasant experience at a J.Crew, so I try to avoid the word altogether.

In reference to post #64, who the hell joins a forum just to make one weak post in a thread only vaguely related to the forum's purpose?
