Got Useful Mountain Bike Tips: Share them here
Let's share some useful tips that you learned recently or feel that might help others.
I learned the other day how to align my avidy juicy 7 brake calipers which stopped slight brake rub:
Loosen the four allen bolts on the caliper that either mount it to the frame...and the other two that keep the caliper together(the two with a lot of washers on it) so that the caliper can move freely.
While squeezing the hand brake as hard as you can...the one that corresponds to the caliper whose allen bolts you've just loosen of course, tighten the allen bolts.
Caliper should be aligned. And brake rub should be gone. I read new brakes might need breaking in as well, or if it still rubs, your rotor could be warped.
Any way, this stopped my slight brake rub on my avid juicy 7s. And any removal of unwanted resistance is always a good thing. Hope that helps someone.

Actually...let's not and say we did.
There's a sticky for that up yonder^^^
If you have anything to add, add it there...though you can learn how to align the tri-aling system by reading your manual. Glad you figured out how to fix the issue even if you did it in a wierd way.
