I just bought the Trance X3 and I am in love with it. What an awesome bike. Go with whatever feels better to you.

Also, not sure what your budget is but I got the 2009 X3 at a great discount. See if your local Giant dealer will discount a X4 or X3 for you since the 2010's are out.

just get one of them after you ride both then ride that one til it no longer rolls then get another one. Above all else just ride the heck out of it. both of them will probably hold up fine.

hey thanks folks, this is gonna be a tough one, its the first FS bike that ive bought, ive only been
mountain biking for a relatively short time, but its a part of my life now.

so far trance is winning out big.
