PLEASE HELP!: need to learn Pogo on trials bike

Hi, i just got a 20 inch wheel trials bike which was customized and is a world class one built with best pieces, but i need to learn a building block trick: the pogo. not the halfwhip pogo, but the one in a wheelie position and hopping with the rear wheel only. i can wheelie and bunny hop very well so this trick shud seem easy, can u tell me how to do this trick from step 1 please and also i found that lifting the front wheel into a wheelie position is hard whilst braking the wheels. so please tell me how.

I would explain it to you, but i cant do it either. Instead, here's a detailed website explaining the technique.

http://free-du.htnet.hr/trials/faq.html#q3_4

If that doesn't help, just try searching for "backhop" on google or something.

Put your front wheel up on something fairly high. Start bunnyhopping backwards. If those sights can't help you then really anything we say won't. Those guys do it a lot. We generally do it for ****s and giggles. Oh...

Practice...lots. Most trials riders will tell you, to get remotely competent takes upwards of 2 years....

I think the easist way to learn to pull the front up is to roll forward at walking pace, grab the front brake so you endo, then rock back onto the rear wheel. That will get you used to feeling about how hard you have to pull back to get the bike balanced on the rear wheel. Then you start having to use your pedals......
