Can I replace a Rock Shox Bar with a Fox RP2

I'm new at this FS stuff. And I was wondering if I had a bike with a Rock Shox Bar. Could I upgrade it to a Fox RP2?. I mean are these components interchangeable like you can do other components on a bike?

I don't see a problem as long as you are using the same size. They measure shock length from eye to eye, the span between the centers of the mounting bolt holes.
