2003 Trek 8000 Value?

Son's looking to buy one, asking price is $450. Clean bike, but to me it's a touch high. All original. Thoughts?

Doesn't much matter now. He walked into a Performance Sunday and picked up a leftover 2007 GT Avalanche 1.0 with Deore/LX mix and discs for $270.

Thats good. That trek seemed a little high for being 6+ years old. A lot of abuse can happen in six years.
