my former coach sent me an invitation to this funraiser ride with bob roll. This ride is to promote a league of mtb racing at the highschool level. anyway this is the site

That's really cool. I teach HS and would love to have a program like that here. My school and kids are so poor that I doubt it would get off the ground though. Seems like a large capital endeavor.

my coach (john tanklange) said that one of his friends tried starting a roadcycling club in the fresno area for kids in hs. the first day they met everybody was riding mountain bikes and some of them were riding walmart bikes. The good news is that there is a mtb hs league in norther california.

Walmart bikes will be huge where I'm at.
I can see MTB though. How many people are on the teams? It's an interesting idea.
