I see that iPhone is advertising B.iCycle. It looks like a mild version of the Garmin. Does anyone have any experience with it. It shows that it will track path, burned calories, speed, distance and altitude. I currently have a Blackberry but have been looking around. Does anyone have some knowledge about this app?

I have and love the Iphone but the bike apps I've tried have been lacking, haven't tried that particular app though maybe it's better. I'm pretty fussy with my GPS units and I currently use a Garmin 60 CSX, great unit. If you are thinking of using an Iphone as a bike, car or personal GPS my opinion is you will be disappointed. Still a great phone, does everything, just not to great at any one thing. The problem with the Iphone GPS feature is it loses it's signal too easily and does alot of guesstimating. Don't see how that app would fix that. Also I use a 3G not 3Gs.

You can get an external GPS reciever for the iphone (or iPod Touch) to improve it's performance, but of course, you pay for it. Here's just one I found: https://www.orangegadgets.com/.
