i just got my full bravo today, and i just want to know what you guy think about this helmet

first of all i think that the sizing chart 661 gives is wrong, i measured my head multiple times before i got the helmet and it came out as like 57 cm every time, so i got the medium size and now as i put it on it sees too small, so i measure my head again, from different angle and such, and the largest circumference is still 57 cm. should i send it back and get a large or should i order a large aswell, find out which one fits best, and then send back the one that isnt right?

also, it seem to me that the back of my head/neck is a little too exposed, my neck is exposed all the way to where the spine connects to the skull in the back of the head (if you know what i mean) isnt that a little too much? although it could be because the helmet might be too small.

either way im not at all satisfied with this helmet right now , but when i read reviews, everybody loves it and says its one of the best helmets out there, and the pros use them and blah blah... so maybe im just being too picky or somthing. tell me what you guys think

All 661 helmets run small. They suggest X-Large for most adults.

Did you not try it on. Sorry but you have no excuse. Was it you who asked last week about full face? Each company designs them slightly differently. 661's do not fit me as my head SHAPE doesn't fit. It is big enough (the helmet) but fits like crap.

Never ever ever buy armour, helmets or anything without trying them on. You are being too picky but its your fault. The 661 rocks...but doesn't fit me either...

Go to a shop...try some on. If a large fits...send this back..if you can't try any one (there are no shops near you at all?) I would be ready to dish out lots of coin trying to find one that fits.

i did go to a shop berofe i got the helmet, i tried on a 661 full comp and large seemed to fit just right, but i figured that the bravo could be measured differenly, so i measured my head and got the one for the measurment.

but thats not my biggest problem, its the whole back of the head thing in the second paragraph

Depends on the fit (for second paragraph) some people don't like the helmet to cover to far down as armour doesn't that. Probably the basic design of it instead of size.

do you think its a problem that it doesnt cover that part of the neck? i would think so.
should i just get another type of helmet that has more protectiion in that area or should i just not worrry about it, because i havent heard anybody else even talk about worrying about that part of the helmet

Sorry, It shouldn't be a problem.

::Edit:: I just checked with my helmet. At the point where the spinal cord attaches to the skull. Your good bro.

I have a 661 Full Comp. Love it. Although 661's are small the X-Large fits me perfectly. Although my friend hates it. (He's has a $300 TLD helmet though)

i have the full bravo 2, and that's about where the back of the helmet goes to on me (the back of the neck where the spine and skull meet).

i measured my head the way 661 said to, just above the ears and ended up ordering a large. 661's sizing was just fine for me. helmet fits me just fine. so far, i love it and would gladly buy another when it's time to.
