Kalamazoo MTBer.

Hey guys,
Just joined the forum today.
Got into the sport in early October, I used to ride 20" bmx, but as you get older you find it not as fun to peddle your ass off and go nowhere, haha.
So anyways, I bought a 2010 Giant Yukon from the local dealer.
It's a great bike.
I've only replaced the pedals so far, but I've set it up perfectly for me.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to riding alot this coming season, so I was wondering if anybody knows any good spots in the Midwest area, preferably Michigan.
Also, what are some good upgrades over stock?

Try some of these: http://www.mmba.org/trail-guide

Near you, I personally like Ft Custer and Yankee Springs a lot.

Yes, I'd love to go to Ft. Custer.
I plan on it as soon as the ground dries up and the sun comes out.
I have a few trails locally (within biking distance) that i frequent, but I'm looking for something long, fast and aggressive.

So what are some good upgrades for hardtails?
I have Dart 1 100 mm Rock Shocks, Alivio Trigger Shifters, Deore Derailer, Kenda Nevegal F/R tires, Tru ATV 180mm crank.
I paid $632 with tax, but it retails for $650, I am quite happy with the bike and the parts are very nice, but I'd like to spend some coin if there are any areas of improvement.

welcome to BF! nice bike you have there, I would just ride it until something breaks and then worry about replacing it with something better.

Welcome! I hope you'll find it a friendly, fun, and helpful community. The moderators are a pain in the a$$ but there's a lot of good folks here regardless.

Thanks for the welcome
I'll keep riding her then.
Everything seems legit for now, but i think the wintery weather is taking a toll on the chain, I have been trying to keep it up clean and lubed.

Riding the bike is a significant upgrade. I suggest Ft. Custer.
