Is this Ghetto

My bike is technically my wife's bike, and I've been feeling a bit compressed on it. So, I angled the handlebars forward and adjusted the position of the brifters. It seems like it's going to work, but I was curious if this is considered sorta ghetto or if it's a pretty well accepted solution to tuning fit.?

if it works for you then thats all that matters.

Not allowed, you must leave the controls just as assembled or you will suffer spontaneous combustion. Nice you could make the bike fit better with such a small tweak! Nothing ghetto about it...

PS We're not talking about turning drop bars up or having bar ends sticking straight up, are we? That would be ghetto...

Do people yell "That's GHETTO!" when your ride by?

Would it even be a problem if they did?

That might bruise my ego a bit. But, I could probably do something obviously ghetto and 90% of the population around here wouldn't know any better.

Are you outside, riding a bike, having fun?

If so, then who cares if it's ghetto or not?

Well, scrub, having seen how much you ride and the bikes you do it on, that does make be feel better. :thumb:

Cool. Ride what you have, and enjoy doing so.

Does it feel better? If you still need more cockpit length, you can try a longer stem or setback post.

I saw a guy do a metric century with his bars turned up ghetto style and the brake cheaters installed. That was ghetto and noone had to ask.
