closeout gloves

I'm thinking of getting this: http://shop.foxracing.com/ecomm/Auto...oppingCart=yes

unless someone can recommend an even less expensive full fingered glove. The shipping on this one's half again the cost of the gloves. They should be breatheable.

that link didn't work for me. are your gloves listed here:

Yeah, the link isn't getting to a particular product. Anyway, Wheel World has some nice deals on gloves right now. I almost got the Azonic Terrain as they felt sturdy and comfortable, but I do XC and prefer a terry thumb, so I settled for the Fox Incline. My only complaint about them is that I didn't like the graphics that much.

Way too understated, eh? :D

I wouldn't buy gloves on-line. hat's an item I'd like to feel 1sthand before deciding. I saw recently that I liked that had portions of the palm padded and I think I would like than. my fingerless gloves have padded palms. during the winter I've just been wearing regular winter gloves - which I will regret going home today with temps between 40 ~ 50 F

Yeah, it's the "Reflex Gel Gloves" for $14.99, the full-fingered ones. Price is my main concern, but the purpose is to protect my hands from brush and road rash (dirt rash?) moreso than for grip, so I like to stick with full-finger.

I've been doing the same as you riding with winter gloves, but that's not going to work much longer.

OK, yeah those sounds very well vented even though it's a full finger glove. not sure how long the perforated palm will last though, but maybe you'll get a "season" out of them. I do like full fingered gloves even year round when it's warmer to help protect the finger tips while shifting, etc. I've got downtube shifters now and so that's puts a little more demand on the finger tips.

Something like that.

Just ordered 07 Fox Inclines from wheel world for about $15 after shipping. We'll see how hot/cool they are.

urbanknight 02-22-10 01:39 PM

Oh, you're lucky enough to wear a small? At that price, it's a small risk, isn't it?

4evrplan 02-22-10 01:55 PM

I'm sortof on the edge between small and medium. I just read, after the fact, that these tend to run small, but here's hoping they'll be alright. Perhaps they'll stretch out a bit.

I feel better now.

I rock the relex's both long and short finger. Mainly got them due to them being black and red, my color scheme lol.
But they are comfortable and work for me.

Does "full finger" sound dirty to anyone else, or is it just me?

It didn't until I read that. Now I'll never say it again without cracking a smile.

Just got my Inclines in the mail, and they fit...well, like a glove. From reading reviews, I expected them to be a bit more stretchy, but they're no, so with hands any bigger than mine, the small wouldn't work. I'm glad I went for the small, both becuase they were cheap, and I wouldn't want my hands slipping around in them. I've yet to see how hot they'll be in warm weather, but so far, I'm happy.
