What is the Pinarello Dogma of MTBs ?
Flashier than Lady Gaga, more curvaceous than Megan Fox, more dead sexy than Beyonce, and more expensive than an entry level Yaris.
$12,500 for a mechanical drivetrain setup and even more costly if you want to shift gears electronically with Di2.
What is the MTB equivalent of the Pinarello Dogma ?

Still kicking.
No more of these now please. It's like comparing apples to Broccoli

The carbon-fiber truss frame of the Arantix, that looks like Tinkertoys linked together. It's about that expensive with full XTR.
Either that, or just about anything from Scott. Spark, Ransom, Gambler......

But to me, the Ibis Mojo is the flashy, curvaceous, sexy bike.
Although Jones bikes probably match better price wise.

Trimble could be in the running. Kinda inexpensive compared to the Dogma, perhaps.

Haven't ridden the "Dogma" as they are still a bit scarce in the UK. Was offered a frame and build up a couple of weeks ago- but without a test ride- I wouldn't even think about it.
But One dream bike of mine is a Whyte E120. Rode a forerunner a few years ago and that works. Trust that the one on the link would be just as good.

This is the cats pajamas ...
The Delta 7 Sports Arantix Mountain Bike features an IsoTruss carbon fiber frame. What the hell is that you ask? Well it's a frame made of hand-woven carbon fiber strands that are then wrapped in Kevlar and baked. Each one has over 1,672 feet of carbon fiber and takes over 300 hours to build. The resulting pyramidal structure of the frame makes it not only rugged but light -- a measly 2.75 pounds. Which is pretty light. You can get the whole bike for around $12,000 or just the frame for $7,000, but act quick if you want one, because they're only making 200 of them.
