Dirt Jump Specs

Hey everyone. I geuss this is the right forum for this. I am building a dirt jump, hopefully a table top. Anyway, i am looking for some specs.
Here's the deal, i just hit some small jumps (maybe 3-4 feet tall, 8 foot length, on a table top). I want to get beter, go bigger, and LEARN AND DO SOME TRICKS. So, what is best for this?

Oh yes, and WHAT is one of the best beginner tricks?

Oh ya, and is there a difference between wooden ramps and dirt jumps?

No, why would you think they were different?

Differen't pop, or feel. Haven't ever jumped wood.

Give wood a try. I think you'll like riding wood. Just remember, the bigger the better, and stiffness counts.

If you're going to be riding wood make sure there is no bends or kinks in it, that could be painful.
