2009 Kona Coilair Magic Link Problems

I'm thinking about getting my GF a 2009 Kona Coilair from my LBS while the Kona sale is on. I've checked out the bike and it seems nice, but I've heard some people suggest the magic link rear suspension had issues last year. OTOH I can't seem to track down any bad reviews with specific mention of what was wrong with the magic link.

I just thought I check here and see if anyone had any reason for me to stay away from this bike.

If it matters she'll be riding a small frame and weighs 120-130lbs.

safe riding - Vik

I had one for a day on a local mountain about a year ago - it worked well - no problems. You can actually feel the change from short to long travel - a little weird when riding a flowy trail - but when your railing down a steep bumpy section it seems to stay in the long travel slack head angle mode.

The worst I've heard is that people think it looks complicated but no one who's actually ridden it has any complaints. I'm picking up a Kona Abra Cadabra soon so I can give you a review in a few weeks once I've got it built up.
