Poploc vs Poplock Adjust- compatible?

I just got an '06 or '07 reba team 29er w/ poploc off craigslist, but it didn't come with the poploc remote. In looking, it seems like the original "just a button" model has been supplanted by the new adjustable one.

1) Does anyone know if the old style levers are still gettable somewhere? I'm not very interested in anything but full lockout/full open
2) If not, will the adjustable one work with the older forks (ie, is the travel the same), or do I need to buy the $85 kit to convert to adjust?

Extra credit: anyone know how to tell the difference between the '06 and '07? He's removed most of the decals, but it still has the serial number sticker on the steerer.

Thanks!

All the models of remote levers are still advertised on the rockshox site, so I assume you can get them from a dealer.
