New brake pads, new disc, brake lever now goes down much farther
Thought it would be the opposite, no bleeding occurred either. Confused.
These are avid juicy 5's, the rotor is the same exact type that came with the bike
Pads are different but compatible
The rear (2 year old pads and disc) feels like it stop at least 30% sooner

do you have access to a bleeder?
I've had juicy 5's that had some problems that were fixed with a bleed when you would not have expected a bleed to have been the problem

mechanically sound
30 bucks from coloradocyclist was the cheapest I found for a bleed kit.
