Shorts suggestion please
As you will surmise from the rest of this message I am tragically "unhip". I'm posting here because you'll know more about mountain bike shorts than any of the other forums.
I'd like to get some mountain shorts to ride my single speed with but can't find what I'm looking for. Everything seems to have 10" or 11" inseams and I hate having shorts hit my knees. I'm just too old and too uncomfortable for that style. Can anyone suggest a brand that makes 7" or 8" inseams please? Thank you. |
This is not the Pistol Pete NBA era anymore, man. You need to embrace your inner 17-year-old :D.

Please respect other users of the trail and refrain from wearing such short shorts.

Bib shorts, baby. :thumb:

I'm with you, don't want my short over the knee because of some stupid fashion (nor do I want my pants hanging past my ass), when I want to wear knickers it won't be a loose type, that'd be annoying. I find the Hoss Ponderosa shorts acceptable, come just shy of my knees, although I don't know the inseam measurements. You could rip the liner out and run a nice bib underneath, otoh although the chamois isn't the best, it works. Looks like Blue Sky has some sizes/colors for $20 right now...
ps They tend to run a bit small, at least a few years ago they did when I got some (I'm using XL instead of L). |
