Pearl Izumi Race MTB shoes for wide feet?

Hi guys - I am looking for a pair of *wide* MTB race-oriented shoes.

I wear Sidi Mega road shoes, and they fit very well. I am looking for an MTB shoe that also has a wide fit and I dont want to spend $200+ on a pair of Sidis.

I know Lake makes wide shoes, but I am trying to see what else is out there.

Anyone know how the Pearl Izumi Men's Race MTB shoes fit? I have read a review on Singletrack that says they fit wide fit - anyone have any experience with them?

I am going to have the shoes mail-ordered to where I am (no LBSes around here), so I cant just go to a shop and try out different brands either.
