Where Can I get A MTB!!!

I've seen one of the MtB's "Schwinn Frontier Sport - 2010"...Is it worth or should I go for a Cannondale?? Please suggest...Thank you!

If your just starting out get a good $200. bike from Craingslist and see if you really like riding. If not, you can resell it for the same money.

Go for the Cannondale. I'd recommend a Moto Carbon 1. Kind of ugly, but supposed to be a cool bike.

I agree with this. I rode an undersized, 11 year old bike for a year or so before I found out which bike was right for me...

...just made my recent upgrade that much more awesome.

At a bike store!!!

Just get the cheapest one they have. Make sure to haggle. Prices are just "suggestions," really.

Or a tooth, as long as it fell out as a result of mountain biking. And don't try to fool him, because if you do he'll leave you a Mongoose!

I don't know much about Schwinn's lineup. I rode a friend's Schwinn Mesa once. That was an ok, entry-level bike. Is that what you're after, an entry-level bike?

If there are some bike shops near you, why not visit them and see what they have in your price range. Test ride a few models. See what you think. Visiting some shops is probably the best way to get a sense of the possibilities.

Keep to a reasonable budget. Don't get drawn into spending more than you can afford.

The term "You get what you pay for" is the exact same thing as saying "Get whichever is more expensive". If you get what you pay for, the higher cost will be higher quality. You need to learn up on English comprehension.

This is totally what I did. The first bike was an older HardRock that was too big for me that I bought off Craigslist. Now the bike that I'm riding is a '99 Trek 6500 that I also got off Craigslist which fits much better. The next bike that I get will definitely be coming a LBS.

And I think you need to reread his post.

That's not what he's referring to. He quoted M_S's "Just get the cheapest one they have. Make sure to haggle. Prices are just 'suggestions', really." and he responded with both the my "you get what you pay for" and Pablosnazzy's "get whichever is more expensive" quotes. That's what he meant was confusing.

How do you pronounce your user name?

Is it: Push-a-chihuahua?
Or: Putcha-chaw-on?
