Hey, Backyard Pro, how would you rate those trails in OKC to, say, Turkey Mountain or Lake McMurtry in Stillwater? I've been debating about making a trip, or weekend, out of it but don't know anything about those trails.

+1

There is also Sheaffer Farms, Patapsco Valley (both places), Gambrill, Elizabeth's Furnace, Wakefield/Accotink (easier trails) and a pile more...

Another good source is MORE: http://www.more-mtb.org/

I'll sneak this in here too since SS/FG people might wander in and want to see the velodrome (it's a little over 20 miles from me):

I know that trail pretty well so that was fun to watch... Gotta love the bloody rider trail side. Who hasnt beefed it once or twice on the hogback.

That looks really fun. And really dangerous... I would probably snap off an arm on one of those trees.

Repack Rider 10-17-10 10:33 AM

Repack is one of the most famous trails in mountain biking, and it is the source of my handle. I rode there yesterday, leading a group of riders from the Biketoberfest (bikes, beer and food) in Fairfax.

Repack has shown up in a lot of YouTube videos as well as being the featured location for the award-wining documentary film, "Klunkerz.". Here are a few samples.
