Nashbar SS 29er

I have the itch to get a SS 29er for around town, I did a quick search on here about this http://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product...4_10000_200516 and couldn't find anything. The other bike I'm looking at is the Dawes Deadeye (which I was able to find some threads on) so which is the better option?

there are 23 reviews on that site, did you look at them? looks like a good deal to me for a SS disc 29er

Yeah, I read 'em, I was hoping someone here had the Nashbar so I could ask specific questions. And now they don't have my size so we can cross off that option ;)

i just got one last week. got it for $279.99. i bought mine to use as a commuter and so far i really like it. my other bike is a specialized hardrock 29er and the nashbar bike has a completely different feel but i actually think i like it better the the HR.

you might want to check out bikesdirect.com and look at the windsor cliff 29.1 its the exact same bike with a different crankset

The Nashbar bike is the 2008 version of the SE Stout 29er (Aluminum frame). It's a good solid bike.
