Cannondale Sclapel and Jumping/Dropping in

I have a Cannondale scalpel (XC race bike) and i was wondering if the Carbon fiber lower arms connected to the seatstays can hold up to jumping more then 4-5 feet and landing hard... it has 2.7 inches (somehitng like that) of travel in the rear... so i would imagine that the limit would be reached before you can break the CF arms...

As for dropping in (i dont do much of) what about 4-6 foot drops? you think that could mess up the arms?

The scalpel has the option of locking out the rear shock so i think i could do drops and big jumps with ease if i landed correctly

LMK guys,

No, yes, no. The scalpel is a xc bike. The lowers are carbon fiber carbon fiber plus big hit equals:

Crunch, snap, crackle and pop.

Definitely not intended for jumping. The Scapel is Cannondale's Lightweight Cross Country bike. You want to jump with a Cannondale? Buy an Aaron Chase Model.
