Man, I almost clipped a deer that ran across the trail yesterday. If we had collided, there would have been pain on both sides.

Do those deer whistles work on bikes?

Try jingle bells or a small cowbell. The cowbell is commonly used by dowhillers to warn people when they're flying down a run.

thats what i use a few of those little bells so people hear me b4 they see me so they get out of my way.

lol you gotta be goin like 50 km/h for those deer whistles to take effect, other wise its just a mad annoying noise like somone screaming
