Any benefit to Titanium chains?

Hey is there any benefit to titanium chains in mountain biking? What affect does a 50-60g weight improvement have?

Apparntly the world's lightest bike chain at 210g.

but pricey....:twitchy:

I would not even consider riding a bike without a titanium chain or obtanium shock springs or diamond encrusted pedals. Anybody in our crew who shows up without said parts are laughed off the trail head.

I think weight is the main benefit to something like a Ti chain. It really will make your wallet weigh less than before you got it. If you're looking for "bang for the buck" improvements, platinum plated LBD's are really the way to go.

Well, no duh. I mean of course.. but.. is there any benefit, other than mounds of chicks being a stud freak.

not so much on a throw away part. If you have to go lightweight on a chain get the one with hollow pins.
I think SRAM makes them.
