No More 48T Cranks On Diamondback Bicycles?
Looked into getting a new Diamondback to replace the 12 year old Outlook and noticed all the Diamondbacks are now 42T. So what gives? No more 48s like they used to be? That sucks!

Still kicking.
48 tooth chainrings died off 11 years ago.
The mass change to 4 arm cranks did away with the 48. Since it would be too much of a chainring and would flex under stress and going to more speeds eliminated the need to run such a big chainring.
