Can i use a 26X1.5/1.75 tube where it calls for a 26x2.10? Or should i return these.

A lot of people say that the smaller tube in that size tire will make it easier for the tube to split, and more vulnerable to puncture.

I have no personal experience, so YMMV.

It will be slightly more likely to flat as it is stretched thinner than the larger size would be. Ride it until it flats and replace it with a larger one.

I have done it, but not for long. It got me by until I got the correct size, but YMMV. I wouldn't want to do it permanently.

smaller tubes will work just fine. i always run smaller tubes and never had any problems with flats. heck, a friend of mine was running maxxis flyweight 26" tubes on his 29er that had 2.4" schwalbe racing ralphs on it! now thats what you call stretching a tube to it's limits.

all those numbers after the main tube size (1.75/ 2.1/etc) refer to the diameter of the tube. you can blow up a tube to it's largest size, but you don't have to. often the difference is negligible. yes, your tube will work. no, you won't have a problem. don't sweat it.

yep. i habitually ran/run/buy tubes the "next size" down and have never had any issues doing so. now, don't go running a tube meant for 1" slicks with a 2.5" tire or so, but otherwise, no biggie.
