What should I buy for a 2010 Gary Fisher Wahoo Disc
I bought a Gary Fisher Wahoo Disk a little less than a year ago, and I have enjoyed every second of riding it. Does anyone know what the best upgrade for the bike would be? I was thinking a new fork, or maybe new brakes.

I had to google the bike to read a review
Its a 26" hardtail per the review i found with a better than average fork for the price, so i would just have the fork serviced, - that should breathe a little bit of new life back into her.
New tires and grips are always a good choice if it needs 'em
The review also mentions an 8 speeed drivetrain, --
Again-- i wouldnt spend much on it, but if the drivetrain is tired, a single ring from Race Face up front coupled with a 10 speed Deore or Zee cassette, derailleur and shifter would bring the drivetrain into the modern age, ,
But again, thats $200 in parts and a new hydraulic brake system to replace the cable actuated brakeset would cost $150 or so, plus new rotors if needed, along with new tires, -- you are talking about spending over $400 to upgrade a bike that was around $650 in '09 -'10
If it were my bike, - i'd just fix the things that are broken or worn out , as mentioned, fresh tires will liven up anything, - keep the wheels true, re-pack the hub bearings if they are serviceable, , and although its an 8 speed, if performance is going south, its still probably cheaper to replace the cassette, chain and shift cables with new 8 speed stuff than it is to upgrade the whole drivetrain
Same with the brakes, just run the best pads available and make sure they are adjusted properly
All of that maintenance will still cost some money, but its more justifiable than trying to upgrade the bike -- The review i read of it was on Bike Radar in the uk and was pretty favorable
