MSRP was $1,550; it's possible that the seller only paid (new) in the range of that asking price. Base your evaluation of used worth accordingly.

Yea theres no way I'd pay over a grand for a used bike... Not that there's not used bikes worth more than that out there.

It just seems... impersonal to me. Buying a really nice bike used... Like being Kiera Knightley's 2nd husband.

The other thing people don't think about on used bike is manufactures are getting a lot more picky on warrantying frame that you are not the original owner. I know a couple of people who have cracked frames on bike they got used and were unable to produce the documents needed to get them warranted.

Those are "bike flipper" prices. Seller is seeking an emotional buyer...not a well-informed buyer.

Why pay 5 or 6 G's for a really nice ride when you can get it for +/- 2k? Impersonal is fine with me if I find the right mix of components- no brainer. So I'm not the "first one"; just means it has some EXPERIENCE

I work on a lot of experienced bikes everyday. Repairs add up quick, and the parts are not always readily available.,,,,BD
