Need new Flat Pedals, Suggestions?

Hey Guys,

Im riding a 2011 Specialized Hardrock Disc with the Black/Punk color scheme that has blue accents all over it. I really would like to switch out my plastic, not so grippy pedals for some nice and grippy, preferably blue, flat pedals. Im looking for something around 50-60 bucks if possible. I have absolutely no idea where to start. Any suggestions?

Thanks!!

These are a few dollars out of your budget, but great pedals for the $. I have them in red on my Peace, and black on my XTC1 and I  them.

^^ Which are neither blue nor only 50-60 bucks

Primo Tenderizers (unsealed) and Super tenderizers (sealed) are a bit old skool; but they're reasonably grippy, come in colors and are economical.

Basic Wellgo platforms also come in blue:

Oh, don't be so easily dissuaded. I do it all the time. Someone asks "Avid or Formula?" - - I say "between those two, go with Hayes." That kinda thing. I purposely resisted shilling Syncros or Sunline or Twenty6 pedals in this instance, though, because I knew they were well outside the OP's budget.

^ why aren't you running the Twenty6 pedals? Those things look pimp! And the Ti axle versions are ridiculously light.

Odyssey Twisted, Animal, or Shadow Conspiracy perhaps?

They are definitely zoot-capri for sure. But honestly, I've been so happy with Syncros that I haven't been driven to make a switch yet.
