I think the time has come for me to part with my beloved 2002 Cinder Cone. I love this bike deeply, but never have the time to actually hit the trails with her anymore. I have a new Trek road bike and another Kona CX bike fighting for position in my garage as well. So, I ask you, what should I request as payment for another to take her home?
I have added Rhyno Lite rims laced to XT disc hubs with 14/15 DT spokes and 160mm Avid mechical brakes. I guess I will throw in the original wheelset (Mavic 139/Deore) and Deore V-brakes that it came with. I was thinking about $600 local, seeing as how this is outfitted better than a new one, and is in great condition with very little wear. Thanks for any information.

Heh, I knew someone would ask me that as soon as I saw the picture in my post. I used to live roughly one minute from an awesome technical trail. Sometimes I would ride on parts requiring me to lean way back and decend, and my baggies would get snagged on the seat. I guess I took that picture before I headed out there. This bike hasn't been used for dj'ing or anything rough

I was looking more at XT disc hubs on 717's.. but I know the RhynoLites are pretty strong, though heavier than the 717's. PM me with a price and I'll let you know something.
