Specialized Stumpjumper FSR, Worth $1400?

I'm looking at a 07 Stumpy FSR. THe bike has the original Fox air fork and rear shock. THe brakes are the original Avid juicy. I rode the bike breifly and it handles great. I'll only have to make minor changes to make it a good fit. It's in great condition. Only a few scratches. It looks like it's only been ridden a few times, the owner said it was only used a handful of times. My only concern is the price. Based on what I've seen on ebay, $1400 is a little high for this bike. On the other hand, I've seen it, close up, rode it and know it's in great shape and the M5 frame would be a big step up over my 05 FSR XC. The owner made it clear, they won't budge off of their price.
What do you think? Pay the money cause it's a lot less than a new bike or pass hoping to get a better deal? (Sorry no pics)

Little high if it's the comp model or elite. If it's pro model that seems fair. The pro has the brain feature on the rear shock. Those comps were about 1800 out the door new if I remember right. Also, the rear shock is a mongrel size. Still great bikes tho...
